John David Mooney: Light Lines Zagreb, 1979

Assisting with the installation of this major large-scale public sculpture and light installation by the internationally recognised artist, John David Mooney.

Mooney works at the intersection of art and science, often utilising light, physics, and engineering to create innovative visual systems. The installation used arranged lights on the ground to create patterns within an urban landscape.

He founded the John David Mooney Foundation, which has operated as a "laboratory" combining art and science for over 40 years.  

This commission was for ‘American Art in the 1970s’, which was installed in front of The Buckminster Fuller Institute’s Geodesic Dome.
